Project Management
A diverse selection of projects from my experience designing, collaborating, and managing the production of props for the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens’ events and exhibits.
All images are concept and planning designs created for large scale productions. Oversaw and managed small team in their production, development, and final installation.
Collaborative Designs
Created design for Jacksonville Zoo and Garden’s AAZA chapter for Bowling for Rhinos fundraising event. After being selected for the 2022 “Don’t Let Rhinos Become Dinos” design, worked with committee to also redesign front logo.
Design went on to win the national American Association of Zoo Keepers artwork contest.
Bio Facts & Educational Materials
Collaboration with the Giant Armadillo Conservation Program in Brazil.
Created bio facts from life casts of the endangered species using a variety of materials and finishes. Researched materials that would allow for detailing but also strong enough for public/child handling to promote education and conservation efforts.
Remote Collaboration
This interactive sculpture created with animator and designer, Naghmeh Farzaneh. Project spanned over 4 months through phone, email, and video conferencing across States.
Sculpture was designed with the intent of viewers being able to reveal different parts of an narrative animation through engaging with different parts of the work.
Wedding Product DesignS
Series of projects used for wedding design elements including: archway, laser cut table numbers, and logo for local Event planning business.
Design Based Teaching
Examples of students’ projects exploring theories and principles of design in 2D, 3D, and advanced interdisciplinary courses for colleges.
